Well as all of you might've already heard. PET-World Board is yet again
moving onto a new script. We're still on my own server, just the script
is changing. That is due to us having so many spammers on this board.
We have more security on the new board and a whole new portal of
possibilities to combat spammers. I've already taken over most of the present topics to the new board. Once it launches I will give you all time to take over things from this board to the new one. I was also thinking of keeping this board as an archive, we'll see about that. Another thing I'd like to say is that ALL members will have to re-register on the new board. Since it is a new and different platform from the one we've been using. Furhtermore, I'd like to inform you that the new board is nearly finished. Two or three little visual details need to be fixed, a little fine tuning on the board permissions and then I need to tutor my staff with the new system and we're ready to launch. I'd like to launch it in February, I'm looking at something around the 20th? Maybe even earlier depending on how we (the Staff Team) work along. Thats all for now. |

I am sad to inform that the spammers on the PET-World Board have dealt us a fair amount of trouble. It's been too much for me to handle by myself. I'm thinking about restarting the forum, using another forum script, which certainly will cost a lot of time, but is one of the only possibilities there is. Another one is, having to validate new registrations one by one. I think we might as well try that, if the staff personnel is ready to do this with me. So for now registration to the board is impossible, which will stop new spammers from coming. Updates to follow. Greetz, SayanOri |

After a inexplanatory exagerated long absence of myself and BlaXun, I have firstly to remind everyone that me and BlaXun are still alive. However as every year passes, PET-World jumps into a cocoon in order to reveal a new layout. I am glad, to at least be able to tell you that the layout is already completed and that the only lacking thing is the re-coding of the website. Sneak peeks will be available at our boards soon, in lower quality which deals a greater impression once the new layout launches in full quality. The PET-World Board and Chat will not be re-modeled or re-coded. We are quite limited on customization on the Chat, however the Board has reached it's somewhat perfect form, and I can honestly not think of any major improvements, which could possibly be done to it, except for a possible header change in order to feature newer footage. Furthermore, PET-World will be changing servers and a new admin will finally assume his position. I look forward to seeing PET-World back at the top of the ranking sites where it once has maintained is position. |
